This Means War
This Sunday we begin our new series through Ephesians by starting at the end - Ephesians 6:10–20, the "skeleton key" of the letter - because Paul’s teaching on spiritual warfare helps unlock the whole letter. In a world that constantly misidentifies the enemy, this sermon will call us to see reality as Scripture does: there is an unseen battle, we have a real enemy, and in Christ we have been given everything we need to stand.
Scripture: Ephesians 6.10-13
(Additional Reading: 2 Corinthians 10.3-5; Isaiah 11.5, 52.7, 49.2, 59.17)
Warm-Up:
How is the devil currently attacking you or others close to you?
“For all the skirmishes we get involved in, I’ve come to believe that we make it harder on ourselves because we’re fighting the wrong enemy with the wrong tactics and the wrong weapons.”
