Because He Lives

Apr 5, 2026    Thailer Jimerson

In this Easter sermon from 1 Corinthians 15:1–28, we explore why the resurrection of Jesus is not an optional part of the Christian message but the very thing that gives the cross its meaning. Because Christ is raised, death does not get the last word, our faith is not empty, and nothing done in the Lord is ever in vain.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15.1-34

Warm-Up:

What difference would it make in your daily life if you truly believed nothing done for Christ was ever wasted?
